With grant funds received in 2003 and 2005 from the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California, the Yuima Municipal Water District re-landscaped the grounds surrounding its District headquarters using a variety of drought-tolerant native California plants. This Native Plant Garden illustrates the variety of textures and colors that native California plants can provide, while reducing landscape irrigation demand by about 60%.
